Asakura Mai (朝倉真衣) is a member of the Akina Urban Legend Research Institute. She is voiced by Yuikawa Asaki (結川あさき).
Profile
Mai is the ace of her school’s track-and-field club, with her sights set on the Inter-High, Japan’s national high school championships. She is a magician, but she has chosen to live as an ordinary girl and pour herself into athletics instead — she simply considers herself better at sports than at magic.
Quiet and stoic, she can come across as unapproachable. In reality she is a normal girl who loves cute dolls. She also has odd blind spots in common sense, such as going to class or wandering busy shopping districts in her workout clothes.
In combat
Despite downplaying her magic, Mai carried the Attacker role label in the October 2026 CBT. See combat roles.
