What is Astrae Oratio?
Astrae Oratio (often shortened to Asora) is a free-to-play anime RPG for mobile and, later, PC. It is developed by Dynamis One — a studio led by former Blue Archive staff — and published worldwide by NC. The official genre tag is “Shindenki Magic RPG”: urban fantasy built around magic and public administration.
You play the Shunin, a low-ranking Tokyo civil servant with no magic, who is suddenly transferred to the Special District Office — the agency that quietly manages every magician hiding in the city. The setting is Tokyo ’89: officially the year 1889, but in a world running about a hundred years ahead of ours, so it looks like late-1980s Tokyo, with Tokyo Tower just completed.
The story plays out visual-novel style with full Japanese voice acting, and battles areturn-based with real-time parries, AP chaining and Dominion Skills. Between missions you spend Free Time visiting magicians across Tokyo’s 23 wards.

What is Astrae Oratio?
Astrae Oratio is an anime-style “Shindenki” magic RPG developed by Dynamis One and published by NC. You play the Shunin, an ordinary Tokyo civil servant put in charge of the city’s hidden magicians, in a Tokyo of 1889 that runs about a century ahead of real history.
When is the Astrae Oratio release date?
There is no exact date yet. The official release window is 2027 for iOS and Android, with a PC version after the mobile launch. A global closed beta ran from October 2 to 6, 2026.
Can I pre-register for Astrae Oratio?
Not yet. Pre-registration had not opened as of October 7, 2026. Follow the official X account @Asora_EN or the official website to hear when it does.
Is Astrae Oratio on PC?
A PC version is confirmed, but it comes after the mobile launch and has no date. The CBT was mobile-only and did not support emulators.
Is there an Astrae Oratio APK download?
No. The game is not released, and the CBT client was only sent to selected testers. Any APK on third-party sites is unofficial and may be unsafe.
How many characters are in Astrae Oratio?
The official site profiles 22 named characters (plus the Shunin), and 18 characters were playable in the October 2026 CBT. The developers have said to expect around 30 characters at launch.
