CBT-only informationEverything on this page comes from the October 2026 closed beta. Names, roles and kits can change before launch.
Nowatari Shion is one of the 18 characters that were playable in the Astrae Oratio global CBT (October 2–6, 2026). Like Sigrid Ulvhern and Nagatani Kanon, Shion has no official profile yet.
What we know
- Role label in the CBT: Breaker. See combat roles and the Break mechanic.
- Name spelling: taken from the CBT’s English build as shown in community gameplay footage. The official romanization may differ.
- Clan, Japanese name and voice actor: not announced.
Why Shion isn’t on the official site yet
The CBT roster and the official character page overlap only partly — the test revealed a few magicians before their official profiles were published. This page will be updated as soon as official information about Shion appears.
About the Breaker role
Likely built to drain enemy Break gauges, which opens the window for big damage. (Our reading of the CBT label — official definitions are pending.) Other Breakers in the CBT: Tanaka Erin, Keikou Mayoi, Hanamori Moa, Natsume Souka.
