Tanaka Erin (田中えりん) is a member of the Magical Activities of the Minato Girls and one of the faces of Astrae Oratio’s marketing. She is voiced by Nanami Hinami (七海日南).
Profile
Erin is an ordinary Japanese middle schooler, born and raised in Japan. Her mother is of Irish descent, so Erin looks unmistakably Western — but in every other way she is a regular Japanese girl, and she cannot actually speak English.
Her life stayed completely normal until middle school, when she happened to meet Fujiwara Riria and Anna M. Battenberg. Through them she learned that she can use an ancient form of mythic magic that everyone believed was lost. Since then the three have lived a secret life as magicians, getting tangled up in magician incidents all over Tokyo.
Story role
Erin is at the center of the Minato Arc. Coverage of early gameplay footage describes her as a girl who has only recently become a magician and is still missing a lot of basic knowledge about that world — which makes her a natural guide for players who are new to it too. In the October 2026 CBT, the arc’s first chapter was called The Sparkling Days of the Minato Magicians.
In combat
Erin carried the Breaker role label in the CBT build — a role that, by its name, focuses on wearing down enemy Break gauges. Official role definitions have not been published yet.
